Welcome to the Dutch and Belgian Antiques Guide. As you are probably well aware both these countries share a rich and long history. As a result the low countries continue to be a worthwhile source for obtaining unusual, rare or valuable items.
 

There are of course the well known traders and fairs, but more often than not you can find real “treasures” in the smaller shops, dotted all over the country. When you are a visitor, a tourist or a professional trader, your time is limited. The aim of this website is to enable you to find out instantly where these antiques shops are. Some are open all day, others by appointment only. If a shop has a website you can visit this website by clicking on the screenshot

The use of the website is self explanatory, apart maybe from the fact that you have to be aware that the countries are divided into provinces. If you are for instance looking for antiques in Amsterdam, you select the province Noord-Holland in the top menu and thereafter Amsterdam. At this stage of development Belgium is not divided yet into provinces, so you select België at the top menu. If there is a page with other information apart from addresses, telephone numbers or websites there will be an English translation of that page. All you do is click on the flag.
